Question: How long can I keep a container?
Answer: In most cases there is not a time limit. However, in extreme cases, due to a limited number of containers, we reserve the right to remove the container if it has had a long cycle of inactivity(has not been dumped for several months). Again, we only do this in extreme situations. In these extreme situations we work with the customer and will bring the container back(when available) if requested. Please remember that there is a $2 per day rental on all containers. This includes weekends.

Question: What materials may be disposed of?
Answer: Any solid waste that is not defined to be a hazardous, toxic, or radioactive waste as defined by federal, state, & local laws. No liquids are allowed. If you have tires, please call ahead to get instructions on the procedures for disposal. Some wastes classified as “special wastes” will need prior approval. These waste include, but are not limited to sewer sludge, petroleum contaminated soil, non-friable asbestos, etc. Lead-acid batteries(car batteries) are prohibited from being disposed of in container.

Question: What size dumpster do I need to use when re-roofing my house?
Answer: If you have less than 40 squares of shingles, a 10 cubic yard dumpster will do. If you have more than 40 squares, a 20 cubic yard dumpster will be needed. Due to weight restrictions, 20 cubic yards of shingles is the maximum amount that we can legally haul. If a 20 cubic yard dumpster is not available, a 30 cubic yard can be used, but can only be filled two-thirds full. We only charge for the material that is in the container. Therefore if a 30 cubic yard container is two-thirds full, only 20 cubic yards will be charged for.

Question: Is there a charge for just having the container moved to a different location?
Answer: Yes. It takes the same manpower, truck, and fuel expenses to move a container as it does to switch one out. Therefore a haul fee will be charged.
